This is one of those stamp sets I just ‘HAD’ to have (around 3 months ago) and this is the first time I’ve used it.
I made this card for my Card Making 102 class on Sunday. This is the ‘stepped up’ sample, much more my style than the simple version.
The card base is Bordering Blue cardstock, and I’ve teamed that with the beautiful Bella Bleu designer series paper. The bird image has been inked up using Stampin’ Write markers – Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip and Old Olive. The edges of all vanilla cardstock have been sponged with Creamy Caramel ink, and a touch of Close to Cocoa. The Bordering Blue cardstock layer has been stamped with the damask image from Friends 24-7 in Bordering Blue, and then the edges sponged in the same colour. I’ve tied Chocolate Chip taffeta ribbon around the narrow strip of Bella Bleu paper.
