Wow – it’s stinking hot here today! At 11am it’s already 35 degrees, too hot to do pretty much anything. I’ve covered my strawberry plants with a gazebo, fingers crossed they (and all the other vegies) survive this week. Definitely a perfect day for turning the evap cooling on high and stamping/scrapbooking!
Here is a mini brag book/thank you card that I made using some leftover workshop supplies. Since the cardstock had already been cut, I figured I should use it! I made a couple of these using the Spring Solitude Level 2 Hostess set, and a couple of others using Simply Said. Each has 4 inside pages, that make it perfect for a miniature album or a thank you card that a lot of people will be signing.
The base is Chocolate Chip, the other layers are Rose Red, Very Vanilla and So Saffron. I’ve sponged the edges of all pieces, and paper pierced the edges of the Saffron piece. The book is held closed with a piece of Hodgepodge Hardware, and the binding has been tied with some retired Organdy Ribbon.
Thanks for looking – off to go sit under the aircon!
