Chloe’s friend had a birthday on Wednesday, and Chloe was adamant that I *had* to use the horse stamp from Wanted (the card also had to be pink!)
Here’s the card I came up with. It’s loosely based on Beate’s Weekend Sketch Challenge from last week, and was fun to create.
The card base is Pretty in Pink cardstock. The next layer is a piece of Berry Bliss Designer Paper. I think this could be yet another designer paper that I get addicted to. It’s so pretty and easy to use on lots of projects.
On top of the designer paper, is a layer of Whisper White cardstock, topped with a strip of the Rose Red Prints Designer Paper.
I stamped the horse image (as required), using Close to Cocoa ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock. Below the horse, I stamped ‘Make a Wish’ from A Little Birthday Cheer in Purely Pomegranate ink. Between the two images I’ve added a piece of the beautiful double stitched Purely Pomegranate ribbon. On the piece of ribbon I’ve added a pewter ribbon slide from our Hodgepodge Hardware tin. In the two upper corners of the image piece I’ve used two pewter brads. The image is then mounted on Pretty in Pink cardstock, followed by Chocolate Chip. I’ve attached the image to the card using dimensionals.
Up in the top left corner of the card I’ve included two photo punched corners, embellished with pewter brads. The photo corners are in Purely Pomegranate and Chocolate Chip and are attached using Stampin’ Dimensionals!
