This card is one of my favourites. It was great fun to play with, and add different accessories.
The card base is Creamy Caramel cardstock. The other layers are Chocolate Chip and Bashful Blue. This card also uses some pieces of the Spring Showers Designer Paper. While this designer paper is not shown in the catalogue (too many other pretty ones!), it is still available to purchase.
The very back Bashful Blue layer features the polka dot stamp from Polka Dots and Petals. The outer edge of the layer also has doodling using a Chocolate Chip Marker. I have added a Round Tab from Chocolate Chip cardstock, and a flower cut from the Designer Paper. In the centre of the flower is a brad from the Pewter Hodgepodge Hardware tin.
The next layer features designer paper, on Chocolate Chip. I have paper pierced the edges of the designer paper using the mat pack and a paper piercer. A photo holder from the hardware kit has also been attached.
On the front Bashful Blue layer I have stamped ‘Happiness’ from Warm Words. This set is excellent value at $39.95, it features 8 sentiments, which can all be used regularly. Around the edges I have stamped the retired All in a Row, you could achieve the same effect using the fine point of a Chocolate Chip marker.
To finish, I’ve cut out a flower from the designer paper, added a brad, and mounted on the card using dimensionals. On the lower left side of the card I’ve added a tab using the Word Window punch, and another brad.
Thanks for looking!
